Just installed this on my 2000 Honda rancher 350es 2X4 fits pretty well went right on break in process was smooth. Had smoke come out the exhaust after I put new valve seals and gaskets in and once I started it up it still smoked so that’s why I put this new piston in with another set of seals and cleared up all the smoke and runs like new. Second half of this review was before the new piston hope this helps! I’d say if your a beginner just take your time watch some YouTube I referenced partzilla and they do a great job showing and explaining every step of the way!
