I bought this collection for teaching my adult students because I know the songs would resonate with them. They are so beautiful and contain many excellent pedagogical elements and perfect for the intermediate piano student learner. I sampled some to my students and they just loved it! I also appreciate having a new breadth of music to share that is outside the classical piano literature. The tangos, swings and contemporary pieces are well written and is perfect for classically trained students who would like to play some jazz without learning all the theory and improvisation techniques. I really appreciate that the composer has also written all the chords in the music so that the player has a better idea of the harmonic progressions and patterns used in the music.
