The media could not be loaded.These are great curtain rods that we’ve used over 6 windows so far. I was worried about previous reviewers but decided to go for it knowing they could be returned if there happened to be issues. All sets were good with 4 being longer and two shorter sizes.We did not have any with missing parts or bent rods or screws. They even included extra screws and anchors for each set. The anchors being higher quality than other curtain rods I’ve ordered in the past year so that was a lovely surprise.There are not clear directions for installing these rods so do your own research if you do not have experience. Do keep a level handy since the long rod comes in sections and is a bit wobbly you cannot rely on that to get the two sides just right.My main thought for this particular design was for our bedroom to keep out the light coming in from the edges. But I noticed we have a tight corner in the living room and decided to go for matching throughout the house.I have to say I prefer this to any other curtain rod with whatever fancy finials. The focus is on the curtains themselves and there’s no bracket showing and getting on my nerves. The end result is a clean and beautiful design.Another hint for I stalling is check the length and make sure you have space with the extending rod section to unscrew it from the end and remove it. I did not do this with the first window and will now have to unscrew it to get the curtains down to wash them. No big deal but makes the ease of removal very difficult. The next three I I stalled I tested first and measured the ends to fit so I can easily unscrew it to get the curtains down. Since they’re white that will be very necessary.Now to get a few more for the rest of the windows in the house.I will note the gold is a classic gold matching most other shades that come in gold for household goods. A bit brassy and most parts are metal. But definitely not real brass. Obviously we knew that beforehand.
