I’ve read a bunch of complaints that this is cheap. Yeah, it’s plastic. So don’t drop it and you’ll be fine.Anyway, it works pretty great. First, when installing TAKE THE SPRING OFF THE TIP. Make sure to take the spring off the body side of the tool first, not the “tip” side. Once you do this you’ll be able to remove the stock tip and install the siding tip.Make sure your coil of nails is near perfect. If it gets caught up in the nail caddy it won’t shoot straight.My only complaint is, it doesn’t shoot the nails in the same spot every shot. Sometimes it blows out the side of the vinyl siding. Still better than hand banging.
