Zero complaint. Was surprised that it actually does absorb water. It’s not like a sponge, but it absorbs water and liquid stuff pretty rapidly prevented it from spreading. I primarily put this in this specific spot on the image surrounding my sink which is a farmhouse sink and the soap dispenser because People have a tendency to go for the soap while their hands are wet and then it splashes onto the countertop. Because the countertop is so white, it goes under the radar that it needs to be dried and I got tired of putting a sponge there and cleaning constantly this pretty much offset all the problems. I think it’s good value for the money, the color is accurate super white and the size is decent. Build qualities nice too. I also like the fact that it comes with feet to put underneath it so it’s not just a stone on top of the counter.But it actually absorbed water very well and for the value in price I think it’s worth it. I wasn’t aware, but you can also use it as a coaster so that’s a secondary idea.One of the reasons I got it was because my countertop is designer white with a specific stone type of material that doesn’t absorb water at all. It doesn’t retain water so if you splash water on the countertop or anything liquid, it won’t absorb it and it’ll be like seven hours later and it looks like it just got splashed five minutes ago. Because the countertop is so white a lot of people don’t see it I do because it’s my kitchen.So far it’s prevented the water from staying still. So I’m very happy with it.
