The mounting plate features compatibility with tripods through an Arca-Swiss style quick release clamp or a 1/4″-20 threaded female connection. Once securely attached, the sidearm’s clamps can be easily unfolded to accommodate your smartphone. This setup enables you to attach a DSLR camera and use your phone as a monitor or for additional filming, or you can opt to shoot exclusively with your smartphone for a lightweight, mobile solution. Camera & Sidearm Adjustment When attaching your camera, the integrated 1/4″-20 screw can slide along a track, letting you move the sidearm closer or farther from the camera. The screw can be tightened with a screwdriver, coin, or by hand using the built-in flip-up turning handle. The sidearm itself has the ability to rotate between vertical and landscape orientations.
